Rubeus Simbra Stud

Rubeus Simbra Stud was initiated in 2014 and is home to Evergreen Farming. The stud is managed by Thorsten Scholz and owned by Martin Venter. Rubeus, a Latin word meaning reddish color, is a perfect description for the beautiful colors of the Rubeus Simbra Cattle – offering many advantages to farmers in all southern Africa. Amongst these include: the Simbra is tough, smooth-coated, can withstand heat, produces beef efficiently, and is ideal for grazing under extreme conditions. The Simbra takes its characteristics from both the Brahman and the Simmental, making it a very suitable all-round breed for any farmer. Moreover, Rubeus Simbra bulls will make a significant contribution to your stud and/or cow-calf production system.
